A Scam of Some Kind

It has come to our attention that someone is sending emails claiming to be a representative of our church.

Please note that the Rev Bill Calder - a bona fide minister - has NO direct
association with West Wickham & Shirley Baptist Church and is based
elsewhere. The Rev Bill Calder dissociates himself entirely from this scam.

Also there is no Edward Smith organising an event committee at the church.

The individual who is issuing invitations in these names apparently from this church
has no authority from the church to do so.

Please disregard these invitations and any other messages apparently from this
church in the name of Rev Bill Calder or Edward Smith.

We advise anyone receiving an invitation from this church to check its validity. We do not use a "gmail" account for any purpose. We are sorry for this inconvenience.
